4th Annual Soup Swap

What ‘s THIS about? It’s a fun, easy way to hang out with your neighbors AND get a wonderful mix of homemade soup for your freezer! Here is how…
- Invite everyone you know in Moorings and ask them to bring someone! Spread the word.
- Bring 6 quarts of a FROZEN soup. Often the recipes will need doubled or tweaked to get this. 2 kinds of soup are OK! The real requirement is that everyone has the same sized containers.
*Bring whatever type of soup you want, though some soups don’t freeze particularly well, potato and cream soups for example. Yes, Chili is fine to bring. “Veggie” varieties also welcomed.
*The weekend before Soup Swap, plz help me remind folks to come and start dropping hints on the wonderful soup you’ve been making. - We will swap soup an hour after the party begins: Party at 6:30, Swap at 7:30, people are leaving by 8:00, though some may stay later…
- Everyone will leave with the same amount of soup, but now it is a wonderful mix of soup!
Moorings Village will provide Tapas, Beer, Wine & Lemonade.
