Moorings Village
Moorings Village is a social committee for residents of The Moorings. We gather to create a caring and involved community. Men and women of all ages are welcome to assist in creating positive change, supporting healthy families and promoting a strong planet to live on for generations to come.
MV plans numerous adult, teen and children’s events throughout the year for all residents to enjoy. Yearly contributions of $10 per family are used to offset the cost of the many neighborhood events. Contributions are being accepted at 9235 Moorings Blvd. Moorings Village offers yoga every Monday at 10am and Zumba every Tuesday at 6:30pm and Friday’s at 10am.
Contact Michelle for more information or to get involved. Thanks!
Recycling
The city of Indianapolis provides the convenience of curbside recycling to your home for a small fee. To sign up contact the Mayor’s Action Center at 327-4MAC(4622). Additional recycling resources can be found here.
Also, Will Hagenow (Age 10) has recently taken over The Moorings Recycling company. Once owned by Kevin Hutchens, and his brother before him, Bryan, the company is now looking for new residents to offer recycling services every Sunday for $5 per month! A great deal! A special thanks goes out the Hutchens family for running this service for many years and for the Hagenow Family for taking the reins! To request service call Will at 915.0399 or email clhagenow@comcast.net. Thanks for doing your part!
